麻豆视频 welcomed the Class of 2029 to the Duluth main campus with an energetic Move-in Day at Somers Hall. On Friday, Aug. 29, first-year students arrived with their belongings, ready for Welcome Weekend.

Among the newest students was Avery Jacobson 鈥29, a nursing major from St. Cloud, MN, who shared her enthusiasm with : 鈥淚鈥檓 on the track team, and we start practices in the next few weeks, so I鈥檓 excited about that. And meeting new people.鈥 As families assisted with the move, Ross, Avery鈥檚 father, expressed a mix of pride and nostalgia. 鈥淭here鈥檚 mixed emotions,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e鈥檙e excited for her future, but it鈥檚 going to be weird without her around the house.鈥

Delta Leaders, Resident Advisors, and other upperclassmen played a vital role in Move-in Day and Welcome Weekend, helping incoming families navigate the campus and even lending a hand with moving boxes. Move-in Day highlighted the Benedictine community at the College, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.
